Delhi
This was an election to the Delhi Metropolitan Council, not to a Vidhan Sabha. Created by the Delhi Administration Act 1966, the Council had 56 elected members but no legislative powers — its role in governing Delhi was advisory. Delhi did not regain a law-making assembly until 1993.

The Election Commission conducted this poll — its own Report on the Fourth General Elections, 1967 (Vol. I, p. 58) records that the Delhi Administration Act 1966 created a 56-seat Metropolitan Council and made the Commission responsible for the election, held alongside Delhi's seven Lok Sabha seats. But the Commission never published a statistical report for it: its Delhi series runs 1951, then 1972, 1977, 1983, 1993 onward. No constituency-level result — no seat names, winners or vote counts — appears to survive in the public record, so only the party totals are shown.
